2026 Golf Outing

Dear Friend,
We are pleased to inform you that we are hosting our 21st annual golf outing on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Waccabuc Country Club in Waccabuc, NY.
Each year at our outing we honor one or more of our volunteer medical staff who travel around the world with us for their outstanding contributions to furthering our mission.
This year we are honoring Doctor Maurine Heard, anesthesiologist, who has traveled with Healing the Children Northeast to Colombia, Peru and Africa to care for the children we treat.
Please join us Tuesday, June 9th at Waccabuc Country Club, either as a golfer or sponsor, or just come to our reception dinner and awards ceremony and enjoy a fun afternoon and evening.
We hope if you cannot attend, you will consider donating to our cause to support our efforts. All funds raised at this outing will allow us to continue our mission. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Robert D. Ryan Kathleen Smith McGovern
HTCNE Board President Co-Chair Golf Committee

Healing the Children Northeast would like to thank everyone who participated and supported our 20th annual golf outing at Waccabuc Country Club.
Despite the heat, you all made a terrific impact for our cause. We could not do this without you!
Many thanks,
The Board of Directors and Staff of HTCNE
Our 19th annual golf outing was hosted on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024 at Waccabuc Country Club in Waccabuc, NY. Each year at our outing we honor one or more of our medical, dental or nurse volunteers who travel around the world with us, for their outstanding contributions to further our mission. We honored Dr. Helen Buhler, PhD., SLP, Professor Emerita at Mercy University. Doctor Buhler has traveled with Healing the Children Northeast on 20 missions and has brought her specialty program to assist our young patients to learn how to speak after cleft and lip surgery. We also honored Dr. Augustine Moscatello for his participation in our Ukraine missions over this past year.
Thank you for another successful outing to help Healing the Children Northeast continue our mission.
